A few pictures

On the way out to the pool, Jim wanted a picture taken in front of this (one of the many) gorgeous exotic floral arrangements in the hotel. They place fresh flowers throughout the hotel every other day.
The girls with their outfits from Archies Pizza last night. Thanks, Laura, for letting us know that Archies delivers to the hotel. If we get a chance, we'll try to find your relatives' shops and stop in and say "hi".

Outside of the pasty shop at the hotel. You can see the mountains in the background. Windy picked out matching shirts for them last night... she loves her sister!! Mom, you'd be happy... I've worn my hair curly the last couple of days. There's super low humidity here; even after it rains, it's not humid. It seems very, very strange especially when we are used to such high humidity in Delaware.
Windy with her swim instructor. She had her first lesson tonight and did fabulous. She has another one in the morning.

Today we stayed at the hotel and hung out at the pool. We met a family from Finland that's adopted a one year and they've been here three weeks. It took them three years to get her. It was really nice to talk to another adopting family.

Windy loves Carman's music; she's singing along to some of the words in English. There's one song she particularly likes and I think it's because Carman raps a small portion of it in Spanish and he talks about Cristo (Christ). First thing this morning, she was lying in bed reading her Spanish Bible, plus she had to carry it around the hotel with her... cool!!

Tonight we had dinner by the pool after Windy's lesson. The food is muy bueno!!! We try to really steer clear of too much of their foods here... thank goodness we have scales in our bathrooms and a health club. Jim and I can really keep ourselves in check.

It's actually not too late... I'm going to get to bed at a decent time tonight... at least I hope so!!

Buenos noches,

Kathy

Hello! It looks like Bethany & Windy are ready to make another pizza! Sounds like Archies is a pretty cool place! Your hotel looks wonderful, and not very crowded. My Wendy wishes it was low humidity here- no more bad hair days! Kathy, you need to pick up a cookbook with favorite, local recipes- and then try them out on the rest of us! Love you guys-

Tina & Wendy

Hey Kathy!

Maybe our Christmas Eve menu can include some Columbian cuisine!

Keep having a good time!
